This painting depicts the sand dunes, bush tucker and bush flowers where the artist’s grandfather, grandmother and aunties walked around collecting food. They grinded the bush seeds with stones to make damper and cook in the coals. They collected bush tomatoes and bush pinaru they call Karti. There are red flowers in the desert and bush honey that they collect from the acacia trees and Mullawoodji (blackberries), Mulla (bush coconuts) and Marrapinti (wild figs).
