Judith has painted some of her Grandmother’s country south of Balgo, along the middle stretches of the Canning Stock Route. This country here is called Yirnangarri after the prominent warniri (rockhole) depicted in the centre of this painting. This warniri is an inta or living water and always has a reliable source of water. The many dots represent the vairety of mangarri (bushtucker) found in this country, including pura (bush tomato), kantjilyi (bush raisin) and walku (bush apple).

Judith is the granddaughter of the late Lucy Loomoo, prominent artist for Warlayirti Artists and Papunya Tula Art.
