Marianne has painted her mother’s country, Yunpu, near Yagga Yagga, south of Balgo community. Here she has depicted women – U shapes with digging sticks – collecting mangarri (bush tucker) and teaching the young people. In the centre is a waterhole, the oval shape is a hill surrounded by an abundance of seeds.
