In this painting Brenda tells of her father's dreaming - the Wallaby Story. In the past, Wallabies roamed the desert in great numbers and were hunted as food but also for their skins. Here Brenda shows the traditional wallaby track adjacent its tail. Central to this image are the tracks left by the wallabies dragging their tails across the land. As depicted by the circular symbol, wallabies were often found near trees taking shade from the great desert sun and heat.
