“I was born at Ruby Plains Station, the Country there has Indigenous native food growing. After the rain the water is naturally flowing into the waterhole the area is looked after from the nature spirits belonging to the place.
Before the women go out looking for goanna the women burn off grass spinifex area to make it clear once everything cooled off from burning they go looking for goanna the women feed the family and friends at their place.
The birds animals also do the same looking for food after the burnt area cooling off.
After they get goanna the women go back home to feed the family relatives and friends have good time sharing stories.
The women looking for goanna were discussed at dinner time, they were the heroes!
Story time.
Every culture have story time.
