Miriam has beautifully illustrated a story passed down by her Uncle Wimmitji, set in Tjatjati, north of Jupiter Well. At the heart of the painting, two sacred eggs take centre stage, sung into being by Marparn men (healers) during a powerful Tingarri Dreaming ceremony. As they chanted, they called upon the native cat spirit near a sacred rock hole, also depicted at the centre of the artwork. From this ceremony, two babies emerged from the eggs, marking a profound moment of creation. Surrounding them, the oval shapes represent the Marparn men, honouring their role in this sacred event.
