Marie says, “Two flowers, yellow and pink ones. About skin groups. Nampitjin, Nakamarra, Napaltjarri, Napangarti. They’re for yellow flower. Napanangka, Nungurrayi, Nangala, Napurrurla. They’re for pink flower. Tjarlitji is friend and mate. Wartakutjupa is different tree plant and flower. Marriage – marry right one from yellow flower, marry right way. Sometimes flowers change colours. Yellow one turn gold like honey and light orange. Pink change to purple like dark grapes. Long time women made jokes. Our flower is pretty than yours, yellow mob say to pink mob. Then they say to yellow mob. Our one is prettier than yours. When women go camping they sing and dance in two groups.”
