Title : Piparr
Size/Medium : 914 x 610mm: acrylic on canvas Painting
Gary has painted some of his father’s country named Piparr and located south of Yakka Yakka in the Great Sandy Desert. The dreaming story is about the Kingfisher bird which in the dreamtime found the rockholes and led the people to its water. The rows of circles on the left and right represent hills and the rows of circles in the middle are rockholes. Running between the rockholes are sand dunes and creeks.
