The woodblock print tells of Sidney’s wife, Madeleine Nowee’s father’s country, Tjuriljarra, within the Gibson Desert. This area is extremely dry and has a strong presence of kangaroos.Tjuriljarra is the name of the two water holes. While, majority of the time both these wateholes are dry; however, when the moon is full, so too does one waterhole fill with the life force of water.
