This is Angie’s traditional country, north of Balgo around Sturt Creek. The creek runs between waterholes from Muturnangu down to Lupu, the last major waterhole before Paruku (Lake Gregory). An important bush food from Sturt Creek is the pinyani, or waterchestnut that is found among the water lillies.
