Jane has painted her mother’s traditional country, and the place in which she grew up – Kunawarritji, or Well 33 on the the Canning Stock Route. Shown here are the tali (sand dunes) which dominate the landscape of the area. The bottom soakwater is Kunawrritji. The next is Witji, Kinyu and then Tjiti. Thease are all soakwaters around Kunawarritji and up the Canning Stock Route.
