This painting was painted by Helicopter whilst he was on his ancestral lands; the country aroung Ninmi and Nyilla. During our connection to country camp we went a long way south of Balgo to visit the country that Helicopter grew up on and is a traditional owner for. Here, he has painted the rockholes around Nyinmi, the multiple parallel lines represent the many tali (sandhills) that are a feature of the country all aorund there.
